Batemans Bay is a town of two housing stocks sitting side by side. There are the brick and fibro places built through the seventies and eighties, most of them single storey with painted eaves and fascias that have taken forty years of weather. Then there is everything built since, rendered and cladded, plus the unit blocks and townhouse complexes closer to the water and the shopping centre.
